Unique product that increases the oil in the crankcase and reduces the weight of the crankshaft in rotating wet conditions.
A fast-spinning crankshaft creates a cloud of oil that is flung around by the crankshaft. By scraping this off directly at each rotation of the crank cheeks, it reduces the rotating weight and retains more oil in the crankcase. It also reduces oil foaming.
The problem of oil starvation (too little oil in the suction pipe) is significantly reduced with this.
The product also increases the stiffness of the crankshaft frame.
When installed, the washers under the crankshaft frame nuts are no longer needed.
We have determined the tolerance on used engines with maximum axial play and thus achieved an accurate fit.
During installation, it is important to test the axial play of the crankshaft and ensure there is always a minimum gap of 1 mm between the crank cheeks and the scraper. The scraper can be easily filed to achieve the correct clearance. Test again after tightening the crankshaft frame.
It also fits with our H-beam connecting rods.
