Upgrading the 944 to have more power is now easy. After many years of development, we can offer a very nice set of parts that will make your 944 go fast with or without a turbo. All in combination with the standard ECU.
All parts can be used individually or in combination with others. Every part will make a difference and all will work together.
The best & easiest route is to start with the MAF to eliminate the possibility of a faulty LMM sensor, and this also gives the engine a very nice boost.
The second or first step is also to go for the Remap, a newly remapped EPROM with modern injectors. The EPROM is available for LMM & for MAF, providing smooth running, more power, and lower CO emissions.
When overhauling your engine, the new H-beam conrods with slim piston pin are an absolute must-have. You will only regret using the old heavy conrods.
The crank scraper is very useful for racing by keeping more oil in the oil pan.
The 272 camshaft can fit in any stage of tuning.
The adjustable camshaft pulley makes it possible to correct the camshaft timing after shaving the head during an overhaul. Also, 2 degrees forward gives the best power band.
