Unique product that keeps more oil in the crankcase and reduces the rotating weight of the crankshaft.
A rapidly spinning crankshaft creates a cloud of oil that is flung around by the crankshaft. By scraping this oil directly from the crank webs during every rotation, both the rotating weight and the amount of oil in suspension are reduced, leaving more oil in the crankcase. It also reduces oil foaming.
This significantly reduces the problem of oil starvation (insufficient oil in the pickup tube).
The product also increases the stiffness of the crankshaft frame.
When installing it, remove the washers beneath the crankshaft frame nuts.
We determined the tolerance on used engines with maximum axial play, allowing us to create a precise fit.
During installation, it is important to check the crankshaft’s axial play and ensure that there is always a minimum distance of 1 mm between the crank webs and the scraper. The scraper can easily be adjusted with a file to achieve the correct clearance. Test it again after tightening the crankshaft frame.
