Fuel pressure damper 924S and 944 > 85

The pulsation dampers fail due to age or incorrect fuel.

Check them by disconnecting the vacuum hose while the engine is running.

Replacement is not difficult, but they can be very firmly stuck. Be careful not to damage the fuel rails.
