944 remap: chip tuning for Porsche 944 & 924S

Fully developed on the dynamometer (DYNO), for every 944 8V 2.5L from 1985 onward.

Our 944 remap kit optimizes combustion, restores the loss of Nm, and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 1%.
Thanks to the improved injection, the engine starts more easily, runs smoother, and delivers lower fuel consumption.

In our workshop, we have often found that the injectors of the Porsche 944 vary in volume (output) and sometimes stick briefly during cold starts. The result is an unstable idle with a cold engine. This also affects fuel consumption and engine wear.

That’s why we looked for a modern suitable injector. The choice fell on Bosch EV6 injectors. With a few small adjustments, these proved suitable for installation in the 944 engine. Our engine was then tuned with these injectors. 

The advantages.

What do you get for it?

  • 4 cleaned, flow-matched Bosch EV6 injectors.
  • 1 eprom with completely rewritten ignition and fuel tables and adapted for these injectors.
  • We install the eprom in your ECU, soldering work required.

Suitable for:

All 944 8V 2.5 liter from 1985/2, so-called type 2. All 924S with 2.5 liter engine.

The early ECU in the 944 (type 1 up to 1985) is different and cannot be adjusted. However, there is a solution, contact us for information.

Tuned eproms for the 944 were available earlier. But they were all adjusted for low-octane fuel (92) and mostly only updated for slightly better performance and unfortunately based on the old injectors. We felt it was time for a European version of this eprom. Because our cars have higher compression and we have 98 octane, the output can also be higher and fuel consumption lower.

This set is also suitable for the new ECUs of Focus 9 (F9T). We have already done a conversion and delivered the car perfectly running with more torque and power.

 

Option 1: DIY send your ECU to us

  • we test your ECU in our Porsche 944
  • we make the necessary adjustments for installing the new eprom
  • we test it again
  • we send these back, including the injectors and your old eprom
  • If you have the skills, you can easily replace the injectors yourself.
    Make sure you know how to work with leaking fuel.
    If not, a garage near you can replace the injectors.
  • Readjust the CO, usually you get between 0.5 and 0.8 CO, much lower than the original 2.5%

Option 2: Drive By to Den Dolder 

In about 3 hours you are 'ready to go' with your tuned 944.

We install the eprom as described above.
We convert the injectors for you for an additional fee of 175 euros including VAT.
We adjust the engine for CO

Make sure your fuel tank is filled only with octane 98 or higher. If not, we can offer you a bottle of octane booster.
