Original speakers are very flat because there is too little space. This frame brings the speaker slightly forward, allowing a more modern speaker with better sound to fit properly as well.
The spacers are sold as a set of 2!
We have already found the right-fitting speaker for you. This JBL 40W RMS / 120W peak is a high-quality speaker with rich bass and a built-in tweeter. We designed the frame around it so that the whole assembly fits seamlessly with the cover.
This speaker also fits perfectly as a rear speaker; see the photo.
