Original speakers are very flat because there is too little space. This frame brings the speaker slightly forward, allowing a more modern speaker with better sound to fit properly as well.
The speaker spacers are sold as a set of 2!
We have already found the right-fitting speaker for you. This JBL 35W RMS / 175W peak is a high-quality speaker with excellent bass and a built-in tweeter. We designed the frame around it so that everything fits seamlessly with the cover. When mounting the speaker on this frame, the speaker's plastic mounting bracket must be removed.
This speaker also fits perfectly as a rear speaker; see the photo.
