The original housing of the tailgate lock can break on the mounting plate.
It is no longer available new from Porsche.
We took on the challenge and completely redesigned it, and after many prototypes, created this very strong model made of plastic.
This makes it possible to transfer your own lock cylinder into this new housing.
Watch the video we made for you for disassembly and a video for assembly. It’s not very difficult to do, but careful work is important.
We recommend renewing the spring and the white plastic lock at the same time.

The difference can be seen from the outside by the width of the lock section.
