The original bushings have a few millimeters of play even when new. That’s why we redesigned them. The plastic used is very strong and temperature-resistant.
A major upgrade for a small price.
All model years use the same bushings; they are also used in the 911 series.
It sits between the shift rod and the gearbox.
To replace the bushings, this coupling must be removed.
Then, using a drift punch and a vise, the pin can be pushed out. Note that it only goes out one way. Then replace the bushings and reassemble.
