Porsche 924 & 944 Safari lift kit front axle 30/40 mm

With this Safari lift kit, you can raise the front of a Porsche 924 or Porsche 944 by 30 mm or 40 mm. The kit is suitable for all road versions of the Porsche 924 and 944, including the 924 Turbo, 924S, Carrera GT, Carrera GTS, 944S, 944S2, and 944 Turbo.

The solid spacers are mounted above the front struts. The kit is supplied with special extension bolts, so you do not need to grind off the original mounting bolts.

This makes installation easier and also allows the car to be easily converted back to its original configuration later.

The kit also includes two stabilizer bar spacers.

This product is a modification kit and does not replace an original Porsche part number.

Important fitment information

The spacers are mounted at the upper mounting points of the front struts.

With this kit, you do not need to grind off the original mounting bolts. Eight special extension bolts are included for mounting the spacers.

This preserves the original construction and makes it easier to convert the car back to the standard configuration later.

The kit also includes two stabilizer bar spacers and four longer mounting bolts.

Rear lift

The rear of the Porsche 924 and 944 can be raised by approximately 15 mm using the standard control arm adjustment.

If you want to raise the rear further, shock absorbers with helper springs or coilovers can be used. GAZ and KW, among others, supply suitable systems for this purpose.

The final ride height of the front and rear must be matched.

Installation information

The two large spacers are installed at the upper mounting points of the front struts.

Use the eight extension bolts supplied. This eliminates the need to grind down the original mounting bolts.

The two smaller spacers are intended for the stabilizer bar and are installed using the four longer bolts supplied.

Check after installation:

• Whether all fasteners have been installed and tightened correctly.

• Whether the brake hoses and other lines have sufficient freedom of movement throughout the full suspension travel.

• Whether the stabilizer bar can move freely.

• Whether the tires have sufficient clearance when the steering is turned fully and the suspension is fully compressed.

• Whether the wheel alignment is correct.

After changing the ride height, the wheel alignment must be checked and readjusted if necessary.
