The original tank brackets have a layer of paint that is rarely still good after more than 30 years, resulting in tank straps rusting. Subsequently, then steel fuel tank also start to rust through. Then the fuel tank must be replaced.

Our newly developed brackets are made of steel and are galvanized and covered with foam so that they lie safely against the tank without causing damage.
