Old engine mounts have sagged which means that the vibrations of the engine are no longer well damped. The engine feels less smooth, at idle it is easy to feel but also while driving. You slowly get used to it, which is why the difference when you replace them is so great and a fantastic experience.
This engine mount is cheaper than the original product and dampens engine vibrations very well, and because it is not a hydro bearing it has a long life.
Comes with new 2 nuts. The mount is suitable for all models from the 928S onwards.
The first engines (4.5) have a straight engine mount where the lateral forces are absorbed with dampers.
We have already sold more than 80 sets of them and also assembled more than 40 sets ourselves.
One sometimes also uses an engine mount from Volvo but it is actually too weak for this application, 92837503900
